Passing through Elkins, we stumbled upon this shop and were blown away by the retail selection. It's typical a groomer will have some treats or what not, but this space was STOCKED with goodies for both cats and dogs. We couldn’t leave without grabbing a few things, and will definitely drop in again next time we are in town.

We came in with a very recent rescue. She helped us fit a harness, from measurements, to trying and adjusting multiple harnesses until we found the right fit. She gave him a comfort treat and trimmed his nails. Also answered many questions. She did great with us, our doggo and we are certainly returning for more visits. Thank You Fancy Paws. I cannot recommend Fancy Paws more! Apologies for the long review, I was just so overwhelming happy with my visit I can’t help it. Zoey and Angelo were so incredibly helpful with my dog’s first groomer visit. She is a rescue and hadn’t even been in a city before. I was nervous about how she’d do and they both were so welcoming. Their prices are amazing. They offer a huge selection of treats, food (raw, kibble, pretty much any form you could want), toys, adorable little outfits, grooming supplies, and more. The price for a washing tub was $20, which was amazing. They have Toe Nail Tuesdays for $10, but the option to do it another day for a bit more. They provide the shampoo, rubber shampoo brush, blow dryer, and brushes, but you’re welcome to use your own things. They even clean up after you, as well. Zoey is an actual miracle worker in clipping my dog’s nails. She was so patient and kind to her. I was in both of their hair for practically three hours trying to get out my dog’s winter shed and I learned so much about taking care of her coat. Zoey even walked me through the treats and toys with recommendations for an extremely picky dog. Turns out I have a salmon lover! If either of them read this, thank you both for your patience and help and Ripley and I can’t wait to come back!
